January Menu Plan 2012

Happy 2012 to you! The New Year is stretching out right in front of us, you know. Fresh with possibility and the hope of good things to come.

I have my monthly menu plan up for you today. You'll notice that the recipes are on the lighter/healthier side of things. It is January, after all. :) And we all know in January it feels good to slim things down. Also, I'd like to point out that I have added a new tab under my header titled "Healthy Recipes", where you can find my favorite light recipes all listed together, with pictures to boot.
I have a whole grundle of new healthy recipes I am planning on posting this month, as well. Watch for the first one to be posted bright and early tomorrow morning.
Try not to "boo" and "hiss" if I happen to post gooey treat or two sometime this month.
It's just so much fun.
I really can't help myself.

But for today...a menu plan awaits
just for you.
As always, colored titles are links to recipes already posted on this site, or somewhere else on the web. Black titles are recipes I am working on and hoping to post in the near future.

  2. I love your site, and cook from your recipes weekly! Thank you! I got an electric pressure cooker for Christmas and have been surprised at how difficult it is to find recipes on line. Do you have any experience with an electric pressure cooker? If so, would you post some recipes?????

  3. Hi Katie,
I don't own a Pressure Cooker, but I put your question out to my facebook followers. 12 people responded with all kinds of great information for you. It sounds like there is a great cookbook you can purchase by Bob Warden on QCV. Someone left a recipe for split pea soup, and there are several more comments with tips you would love. Here is the link to my facebook wall.

If you aren't on facebook, leave me your email and I'll copy and paste the info and send it to you.

    Thanks!
